Visual identity system for SquiggleDAO, a web 3.0 art appreciation organization.

Deliverables include an identity system, creative strategy, and brand guidelines.

Work completed at Frank Collective c/o Applied Ambition.

 

SquiggleDAO is on a mission to build the largest public collection of Chromie Squiggles and was in need of a new identity. The solution was to create a brand identity that would capture their unique position as a hybrid between museum and community. The work needed to speak to the artistic and historical value of the Squiggle, while also educating and inspiring newcomers.

Derived from the ethereum blockchain logo, the square frame of the Squiggle DAO logo brings to mind museums and art galleries. The Squiggle itself extends beyond the borders of the frame, however, visually symbolizing how on-chain art disrupts and escapes the confines of traditional art.
